To all of our wonderful Pledgers…WE DID IT – YAY!

On a lovely sunny morning William and I, together with or our lovely dogs Bruno and Taffy, met up with over 200 other mad fools (and their dogs!) to attempt the 12.5 charity walk in aid of South West Children’s Hospice. The walk started at Upton Village Hall, around Wimbleball Lake and wearily back to the hall. Luckily the weather was very kind (except for one sharp shower) the human and canine company was excellent and the scenery was stunning – so it was all over in a respectable 4.5 hours. We had a great day, ate a delicious picnic with the dogs by the lakeside, and thoroughly enjoyed walking in a “new” to us area – and all rounded off by knowing that we were helping to raise some much-needed money for a truly worthwhile cause.
